Different moods, different videos

Do you notice how your video choices completely change depending on your mood? Like sometimes you want something fast and entertaining, and other times even short videos feel like too much. I’m wondering if people actually have a stable preference, or if it’s always changing depending on the day.

For me it definitely changes, but not randomly — it feels tied to energy levels. When I’m active or bored, I tend to watch faster, more engaging content. But when I’m tired or mentally full, I switch to much slower

videos without even thinking about it. It’s almost automatic now. I’ve noticed that I prefer simple, low-pressure videos in those calmer states — things where I don’t have to follow a story or react quickly. Just smooth, steady content that I can half-watch while doing nothing else. It helps me decompress without adding more stimulation.
